About the photographer
My Background
- Having recently retired from a 28 year career in law enforcement, I needed a hobby that had nothing to do with this type of work. I decided to try Nature photography, I love being outside and close to nature, I enjoy seeing animals in their natural habitat. This was perfect for me. I attended photography classes in Chicago, IL. and several Nature Photography seminars in the surrounding areas. Then with my Nikon camera in hand, I headed outside to be with Nature. I have a passion for nature that I would love to share with you through my lens.
Nature as it was meant to be
- I take pride in the fact that all my photos are taken in the natural environment of the animals. I have no problem with zoo's or rescue rehab centers, they have a role, but I choose to get outside and enjoy nature and it's beauty up close and in their natural habitats.
